Floating on the emerald water
The swans mated with grace
Hoping to birth a darling daughter
They swam smiling, face to face
As the rippling waves danced in joy
Adorning the lake as delicate lace
The fluttering leaves ceased to annoy
Their tiny white flowers showering a rain
While the sparkling reeds grinned in coy
The air of excitement was hard to contain
When the swans waltzed in dizzy
The magic of Nature was impossible to explain
