Love
Struck me
As you twirled
In abandon
Swaying in the breeze
On a sweet summer night
Your intoxicating scent
Filled my senses, luring my soul
To become a part of your presence
By letting go of the strings that bind me
In this world where our love had no place left
Among the choking fumes of venom
Seeping through vents of chimneys
Scattered all around our homes.
Let us waltz far away
Where flowers like you
Are worshiped by
Delicate
Souls like
Mine.
