High Up the Mountains

High
Up
Over there
Far away
Across the globe
Against the snow
On an earthy mountain
Three men in red
Immersed in a deep discussion
But not a word spoken;
Away from needs, wants, & desires
They found peace by owning nothing.
Yet they were the richest amongst all
With Nature’s abundant love protecting them always.

  7. Wow another lovely piece of painting and such apt lines describing their bliss. I love the line that they found peace by owning nothing.... Profound and absolutely true. The moment you start owning peace starts to leave :)

      This one is kinda my invention. I wanted the poem to resemble a mountain so went 1-1-2-2-3-3-4-4-5-5-6-6-7-7 words per line.
