Full Tide

Credit: Ratna Pochiraju

Full
It rose
Across the sky

Blue and white
Spreading across
Azure

Higher
It stretched
Touching the clouds

Curving and curling
Into playful
Waves

Up
It splashed
Bonding- Earth, Heaven

Carrying shells along
Gifting them
Lovingly

Note: The style a series of Hay(na)ku and Inverted Hay(na)ku alternated to get this pattern of a wave.

  7. Short and sweet description of the waves. The rising, the curling, the colours, the shells... you've covered it all.

I know about Haikus...is this a variant of Haiku?

    1. Thank you, CRD. :)
It actually is. This is what they call an easier and modern (non Japanese) version of a Haiku.
