Just You & Me

Credit: Ratna Pochiraju

Just you & me
On a rainy noon
Walking hand in hand
Under the wet umbrella
On an empty street

Just you & me
Surrounded by the trees
Dripping droplets
Of blessings and good wishes
To support our love

Just you & me
Away from the watchful eyes
Judging and sneering
Not understanding
That love has no gender.

  2. The tiwst in the final lines changed the whole perspective!
I feel sorry for all such people who are judged for their choices. Wish the world has little more empathy to accommodate the difference.

Guess because we are too used to let go of the habit of judging.

  14. Beautiful.... Didn't expect the twist in the ending... I just got caught in the lines before that and couldn't help imagining... If only blessings and good wishes could come down like droplets of rain from the trees around!!
