I usually don't understand poetry, but now this is the second time a poem has spoken to me (and it's been a YeahWrite poem both times!). Maybe I need to give poetry appreciation a more serious re-try...

ReplyDeleteThe Left side / Right side format is great for the conversation that this poem clearly portrays. I like how there is push and pull between the 2 people in the poem. Some of the lines felt Yoda-like to me as well. This poem had a clear beginning, tension and resolution. I liked it, thanks for posting.
