How Real is it?

“Fall in love with the colors of spring.” She twirled, a crown of daisies adorning her auburn ringlets.
The cameras clicked her pictures in delight, as tender petals danced around her.
Four hours later…
The artificial trees were removed from the air-conditioned film set.

  2. I really like the underlying concept of this piece -- the notion of the artifice, the facade being removed to reveal what lies beneath. There's a powerful statement on looking beyond the immediately obvious.

  5. I have always loved those pictures that take something ugly or ordinary and magically turn them into something unbelievable. That's not a forest, that's someones overgrown ditch. :)
