Jumbled Emotions

The image is taken from Pixabay.

Oh, darling, all my life was a joke
Filled with piercing jeers
Of the elite judges
Making me jumpy
Turning me into a mass of jitters
Afraid to laugh at the fear of jinxing
Terrified at the hint of jazziness
Until one day, a juvenile
Pointed out the reason for their jealousy
Was my ability to be joyful
Despite the fatigue of life's journey.
