The only thing I would say is the use of 'one' when the child says they want 'one cookie'. It sounded a bit awkward and I think 'a cookie' would have worked better? Other than that I loved the mischief here!
Thank you. :) I had to stick to the given prompt and hence used the word 'one'. It had to be there between the words 'light' and 'candle' to qualify. And yes, a cookie sounds a lot better. :)
